Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with rectal malignancy and sigmoid colon malignancy who underwent laparoscopic radical surgery from September 2022 to September 2023 in the Department of Gastroenterology/hernia surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University are 20-70 years old, regardless of gender, including laparoscopic and robotic resection; 2. Postoperative pathology confirmed adenocarcinoma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with emergency colectomy, open surgical approach or conversion to open surgical approach are excluded; 2. The patients with extensive abdominal metastasis or distant organ metastasis during operation were complicated with organ resection; 3. Diabetes patients, except those who take hormone and other immunosuppressive drugs for a long time before operation; 4. Patients who received adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy before operation; 5. Except for patients undergoing Miles operation; 6. Patients with Hartmann operation were excluded; 7. Preoperative LCA obstruction was excluded.
