Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Han nationality, aged 13-17 years, primary school or above; 2. Right-handed; 3. Meet the ICD-10 mental illness diagnostic criteria for major depressive disorder; 4. Participate voluntarily and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe physical diseases (such as severe heart, brain, liver, renal insufficiency, etc.); 2. Subjects with organic brain diseases (such as trauma, tumors, etc.); 3. Peripheral nerve and muscular system lesions; 4. History of alcohol abuse or psychoactive substance abuse; 5. Subjects with visual and hearing impairments; 6. Contraindications to rTMS treatment, including metal implants or risk of epilepsy; 7. Repeated suicidal thoughts, or any kind of suicidal behavior.
