Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 12 months before the experiment, there was at least one severe ankle sprain, pain, swelling and other symptoms on the affected side, resulting in at least one day's inability to move normally; 2. In the first year of this study, the unilateral ankle joint had the feeling of losing control and/or sprain and/or instability twice or more; 3. The score of Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool was less than or equal to 27; 4. There was no sprain, out of control or instability in the other ankle; 5. There was no mechanical ankle instability.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Fracture of lower limb or operation; 2. Mechanical instability or acute pathological symptoms of lower limbs; 3. Systemic neuromuscular dysfunction and vestibular dysfunction; 4. The patient had bilateral functional ankle instability.
