Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The selected patients need to sign informed consent; 2. The patients diagnose diabetes according to the 1999 WHO diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes mellitus; 3. All patients must be aged >= 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Recent diabetic acute complications, including diabetic ketoacidosis, lactic acidosis, hyperosmotic coma; 2. Glucolipid metabolism affected by other factors, such as hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Cushing's syndrome, lesion of hypothalamus and pituitary, long-term glucocorticoids therapy; 3. Pregnant or lactating women; 4. Patients with acute or chronic infectious diseases or cancer.
