Vitamin C group:Vitamin C ivgtt 3g every 12h (dissolved in 50ml 0.9% NaCl)
placebo control group:50ml 0.9% NaCl ivgtt q12h

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria of sepsis 3.0 version; 3. The patient has not received other clinical trials related to vitamin C before admission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The length of stay in ICU is less than 5 days; 2. There are contraindications to the use of vitamin C: such as glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, hemochromatosis, hyperoxaluria, etc.; 3. Iron deficiency anemia; 4. Patients with renal insufficiency and using CRRT; 5. Patients with long-term use of hormones or immunosuppressants; 6. Patients with malignant tumors receiving radiotherapy, chemotherapy or immunotherapy; 7. Pregnant or lactating patients; 8. patients with mental disorders.
