Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Comply with the diagnostic criteria for septic shock in the international guidelines for the management of severe infection and septic shock (2016 Edition); 2. Complete the initial fluid resuscitation under the guidance of severe ultrasound, and achieve the balance of oxygen supply and demand: gap65%; 3. Heart rate >100 beats / min; 4. Within 48 hours after entering ICU.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age <18 years; 2. Infection focus was not cleared; 3. There are contraindications to the use of esmolol; 4. Use ß Receptor agonists, such as dobutamine; 5. Primary central nervous system damage: such as cerebral hemorrhage, acute cerebral infarction, intracranial infection, etc;
