Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 60-90 years; 2. ASA grade I~III; 3. The expected operation time of elective orthopedic surgery under general anesthesia is >= 2 hours; 4. Voluntarily sign informed consent; 5. Control group consisted of non-operative elderly with the same age and education level as the patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Central nervous system diseases and mental diseases; 2. Serious diseases of cardiovascular system, respiratory system, liver and kidney; 3. Preoperative MMSE < 23; 4. Taking sedatives or antidepressants; 5. Alcohol or drug dependence (in the past 3 months, drinking more than 40 degrees of alcohol and more than 100mL a day); 6. Patients with surgical history within the past 1 year; 7. Communication disorders (language barrier, severe visual or auditory impairment).
