Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged > 18 years, planning to undergo elective laparoscopic esophagectomy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve injury and vagus nerve injury; 2. Preoperative vocal cord injury; 3. Those who did not perform vocal cord function assessment before surgery; 4. Temporary change of surgical technique during surgery.
