18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 18-40 years old; 2. Patients with mesial/horizontal impacted mandibular third molars with CBCT showing that close relationship between root and mandibular nerve canal; 3. Patients request extraction and agree to coronectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic diseases; 2. Immune system defect; 3. Use antibiotics and hormone drugs within 3 months before tooth extraction; 4. Caries, apical lesions, and cystic lesions of mandibular third molars; 5. Radiotherapy for mandible; 6. Root loosening during coronectomy.
