Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Pulmonary Embolism Group: 1. aged from 18 to 80 years old, both sex; 2. the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism was confirmed (meets one of the criterions): (A) CTPA shows pulmonary artery filling defect. (B) V/Q scan shows the high possibility Control Group: 1. aged from 18 to 80 years old, both sex; 2. the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism was suspected (meets one of the criterions): (A) An elevated D-dimer level in serum was found, accompanied by clinical manifestations related to pulmonary embolism, such as chest pain, chest distress or syncope. (B)The vascular ultrasound of lower extremities revealed abnormal and the diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) was made, which was confirmed by physicians.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded if they could not do examinations,or could not provide informed consent.
