Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-70 years, no gender limit; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes (according to the 1999 WHO Diagnostic criteria for Diabetes) : Diabetic symptoms plus plasma glucose >=11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl) at any time, or fasting plasma glucose level (FPG) >=7.0mmol/L (126mg/dl), Or a 2-hour blood glucose level (2hPG) >=11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl) on an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). A repeat confirmation is needed for the diagnosis to be valid; 3. Meet the diagnostic criteria for DPN (according to the 2010 Chinese Guidelines for Type 2 Diabetes Prevention and Treatment) : (1) Have a clear history of diabetes, or the presence of diabetes has been confirmed by laboratory tests for diabetes; (2) Neuropathy at or after the diagnosis of diabetes; (3) Clinical symptoms and signs consistent with DPN, such as persistent paresthesia or pain in the extremities (at least the lower extremities); (4) Abnormal 1 of the following 4 tests was diagnosed as DPN: abnormal ankle reflex or knee reflex; Abnormal acupuncture pain; Abnormal vibration perception; Abnormal stress perception. Peripheral neuropathy except for other causes: For example, cerebral infarction, Guillain-Barre syndrome, cervical and lumbar spine lesions (spinal canal stenosis, nerve root compression, cervical and lumbar degenerative changes), and severe arteriovenous vascular lesions (venous embolism, lymphangitis), it is still necessary to distinguish neurotoxic effects caused by chemotherapy drugs and nerve damage caused by metabolic poisons caused by renal insufficiency. If the diagnosis cannot be confirmed based on the above tests, the patients who need to undergo differential diagnosis can do electromyography; 4. No serious complications or other serious diseases and no absolute contraindications for surgery; 5. Patients were informed and volunteered to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Nerve root compression, spinal canal stenosis, cervical and lumbar degenerative changes and other diseases that can cause peripheral neuropathy; 2. Patients with arteriovenous vascular diseases such as venous embolism and lymphangitis; 3. Patients with stroke and Guillain-Barre syndrome; 4. Chronic complications of diabetes except DPN and acute complications of diabetes, such as diabetic hypertonic coma, diabetic ketosis and ketoacidosis, lactic acidosis, etc.; Patients with malignant tumors; Pregnant or lactating patients.
