Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hospitalized patients diagnosed with herpes zoster; 2. Aged >=18 years; 3. Patients sign informed consent forms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient refused to participate in the study; 2. Failed to provide qualified stool samples within the agreed time; 3. Associated with digestive diseases (liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic diarrhea, constipation, etc.), infectious diseases (HIV/HCV); 4. Have used antibiotics/oral probiotics in the last 6 months; 5. Have not received shingle-related vaccine or received shingle-related treatment; 6. Other painful diseases at the site of the rash; 7. Metabolic diseases associated with intestinal microbiota, such as thyroid dysfunction, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc. 8. The researcher judged that he was not suitable to participate in this study.
