Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were individuals with body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 25.4 kg/m^2 and fasting serum glucose level below 5.5 mmol/L.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they had metabolic disorders, mental disorders, significant weight fluctuation, anemia, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, renal/liver diseases, thyroid disease or eating disorders. Participants with strict dietary concerns, including dislike of or allergy to foods or adherence to particular diets (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, kosher, etc.) were also excluded.
