Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 to 75 years, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Classification II-III, and undergoing elective cardiac surgery in our center were eligible to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who were allergic to local anesthetics, patients with coagulation disorder, infection around the puncture site, patients with renal or hepatic failure, BMI=40,chronic opioid consumption or pain syndrome history and patients with psychiatric problems or cognitive difficulties were excluded from the study.
