65 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Older than 65 years old; 2. Endotracheal intubated >= 24 hours; 3. Successfully pass the spontaneous breathing test; 4. Planned extubation, and non-invasive ventilation or high-flow nasal catheter oxygen inhalation or continuous oxygen therapy was used immediately after extubation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Tracheotomy; 2. Unplanned extubation; 3. Non-cooperation or refusal to reintubate; 4. Underlying chronic neuromuscular diseases; 5. Traumatic brain injury leading to intubation; 6. Transfer within 48 hours after admission to ICU.
