Intervention group:Mindful parenting intervention

control group:Treatment as Usual (TAU): Participants received the same standard postpartum care and child care as the intervention group. They were also provided with contact information for Maternal

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Maternal inclusion criteria: 1. age >= 18 years; 2. first-time mother, singleton pregnancy; 3. GAD-7 >= 5, or EPDS >= 10, or PSI-SF total score >= 90; 4 breastfeeding after delivery; 5. independent reading and comprehension skills in Chinese; 6. ability to use the WeChat app to participate in the study; 7. not currently receiving psychological interventions or in a waiting group for other psychological interventions; 8. informed consent and voluntary participation in this study. Infant inclusion criteria: 1. full-term gestational age infants (37 weeks <= gestational weeks < 42 weeks); 2. at approximately 42 days postnatal when recruited.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Maternal exclusion criteria: suicidal ideation: 1. score >= 2 on the EPDS Item 10: I want to hurt myself; 2. serious pregnancy complications during pregnancy; 3. serious obstetrical complications in the postpartum period; 4. previous or current psychiatric or cognitive disorders; 5. postpartum separation of mother and baby; 6. combination of unfit for breastfeeding Maternal and infant illnesses: e.g. active tuberculosis, HIV infection; 7. previous courses in mindfulness or parenting, etc. Infant exclusion criteria: 1. congenital anomalous disorders; 2. serious neonatal complications after birth.
