Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. One partner of the couple was diagnosed with CRC (any stage); 2. The spouse was the primary informal caregiver of the patient; 3. Adult married couples (aged > 18 years); 4. Neither patient nor spousal caregiver had a verbal communication disorder; 5. Both partners of the couple were willing to participate in the program.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The spouse was not the primary informal caregiver of the patient; 2. Spousal caregivers have serious physical or mental illness themselves.
