Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The experimental group was AIS patients, and the inclusion criteria were: 1. Patients diagnosed with scoliosis by clinical professional physicians based on clinical and imaging data; 2. Aged 10-18 years, and agree to take full spine frontal and lateral X-ray in a standing position; 3. The main Cobb angle is above 10°; 4. The difference in the length of both lower limbs is within 1 cm; 5. The right lower limb is the dominant leg; 6. No previous scoliosis related treatment, the only treatment received is wearing a brace during the day; 7. No congenital or pre-existing musculoskeletal deformities, neurological disorders, traumatic and psychiatric disorders; 8. No disease or surgery history of spine, lower limbs and feet; 9. Able to walk independently; 10. Able to understand and follow the instructions, the subjects and their legal guardians agree to sign the informed consent. The control group was healthy subjects, recruited in the general population, aged 10-18 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed as non-idiopathic scoliosis; 2. Severe deformities of the lower limbs and feet, or deformities of other parts; 3. The presence of other diseases that affect gait, such as trauma, muscle wasting or related musculoskeletal diseases such as joint diseases.
