Sex/Gender
Male

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients scheduled for laparoscopic colorectal-carcinoma surgery expected to last more than 2h under general anesthesia; 2. Patients aged 18-85 years; 3. ASA II-III status; 4. Body-Mass Index (BMI) less than 35 kg/m2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. A history of upper respiratory tract or pulmonary infection within the previous 4 weeks; 2. Chronic lung-related diseases; 3. History of chest or lung surgery; 4. Neuromuscular dysfunction; 5. Serious cardiovascular, lung, kidney, or hematopoietic diseases, such as renal failure, leukemia, congenital heart diseases, etc.
