Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The elderly in elderly care institutions (aged >= 60 years); 2. It meets the diagnostic criteria for MCI in the 2018 Chinese guidelines for dementia and cognitive impairment. MoCA score is in 15-25, and one or more cognitive functional domains are damaged in the cognitive test with the total ADL score > 23 and the instrumental activity of daily living (IADL) was not significantly impaired; 3. To have clear consciousness, communicate normally, and have no other basic diseases that may affect cognitive function, such as cerebral infarction, brain tumor, brain vascular disease, etc.; 4. Do not have previous English learning experience, or a small amount of learning experience and vague memory; 5. Volunteer to participate in the study and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Tthe elderly who are unable to cooperate with the second language learning intervention; 2. The elderly who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
