Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patients diagnosed as hemifacial microsomia and Pruzansky type II based on the 3D CT scan. In details, type IIA refers to those whose ramus and condyle have abnormal morphology, but the condyle–glenoid fossa relationship is maintained; type IIB the ramus and condyle are hypoplastic and displaced toward the midline.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Younger than 3 years old; 2. Diagnosed as Pruzansky type I (condyle and ramus are reduced in size, but the morphology is maintained.) or type III (condyle and ramus are reduced in size, but the morphology is maintained.) or other syndromes; 3. The informed consent was not signed; 4. Combined with other congenital diseases; 5. Combined with contradictions of anesthesia.
