Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged <25 years; 2. No gender limitation; 3. Patients with bilateral symmetrical tooth extraction with fixed appliance technique were treated.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Smoking; 2. Pregnant, lactating and planning to become pregnant; 3. Long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, bisphosphonates, corticosteroids, tetracycline, immunosuppressants and other drugs that affect bone metabolism or bone healing; 4. History of radiotherapy for head and neck; 5. The adjacent teeth of the premolars to be extracted are obviously misaligned and twisted; 6. Patients with severe periodontitis; 7. The crowd is too large and there is no gap to close after the alignment of teeth.
