Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Definitely diagnosed as DOC; 2. The age is 18-70 years old; 3. The time of onset injure was more than 1 month; 4. The family members have signed the informed consent form and agreed to accept the operation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's disease, Lewy body dementia, etc.) and consciousness disturbance caused by malignant brain tumor surgery; 2. Patients with coma caused or complicated by exacerbation of systemic diseases, or patients with short expected survival time; 3. The level of consciousness has reached the diagnosis of emerging from minimally conscious state (eMCS), that is, patients who can use objects or communicate effectively with the outside world; 4. The disease duration is less than 1 month, or the consciousness has progressive improvement or deterioration within 1 month before operation; 5. Patients with recurrent epileptic seizures that are difficult to control; 6. There are contraindications to surgery; 7. Undergoing experimental drug or instrument test.
