18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Over 18 years old; 2. The modified NUTRIC score of critically ill patients is >= 5 points; 3. Expected to need to receive mechanical ventilation for >= 48 hours; 4. Estimated need to indwell a gastric tube through the nose for enteral nutrition for >= 7 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of upper gastrointestinal surgery; 2. Patients with gastrointestinal bleeding; 3. Intestinal ischemia, intestinal obstruction, short bowel syndrome and abdominal compartment syndrome; 4. Patients with severe diarrhea (> 1000 ml/24h); 5. Patients receiving enteral nutrition; 6. Patients with severe shock that has not been corrected (norepinephrine > 0.2 µg/kg/min).
