Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Experimental group: (1) Children who are admitted to PICU directly from the outpatient/emergency department; (2) Children with sepsis meet the diagnostic criteria for sepsis; (3) Aged < 18 years (except newborns); (4) Complete clinical data; (5) Informed consent of the child's family or guardian. 2. Control group: (1) Healthy children; (2) Aged < 18 years (except newborns).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Experimental group: (1) Children transferred from other departments to PICU; (2) Those who have not collected blood within 24 hours of admission to the hospital. 2. Control group: those who have abnormal results in any physical examination.
