Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Nonspecific neck pain (also known as mechanical neck pain) is localized in the neck region and extends downward from the suboccipital margin to the level of the scapular spine; 2. The imaging examination of the neck showed no obvious abnormality, and the neck pain was in acute stage; 3. With or without headache, shoulder pain, or other discomfort (stiffness); 4. The subject is of any sex and is over 18 years of age; 5. VAS score >= 3 and NDI >= 10; 6. Able to read, write and understand words, good communication skills; 7. Participate voluntarily and sign a written informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. A patient with a history of spinal tumor or cancer, infection, trauma or surgery; 2. Patients with disc herniation requiring surgical treatment; 3. Patients suffering from rheumatic or rheumatic diseases or severe osteoporosis; 4. Patients with neurologic (e.g., multiple sclerosis) disease; 5. Patients with cognitive impairment or who are unable to read, write or understand words; 6. Pregnant or lactating women; 7. The patients and their families refused to participate in the study.
