Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The subject was definitely diagnosed as T2DM; 2.BMI >= 28kg/m2; 3. Older than 18 years old; 4. The course of diease ranged from 6 months to 5 years; 5. GLycosylated hemoglobin less than or equal to 7%; 6. Stable dose of metformin monotherapy for at least 3 months; 7. All subjects signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Female subjects were pregant, intended to be pregant duiring the study period, during laction, and did not take effective caontraceptive measures; 2. Acute complications of diabetes, such as DKS or HHS, occured in recent 6 months; 3. Glucocorticoid treatment (oral or intravenous) lasted for more than 7 days within 6 months; 4. Suffering from acute or chronic liver disease, or the transaminase (ALT or AST) is more than 3 times higher than the upper limit of the normal range for 2 consecutive examination within 4 weeks before screening; 5. Moderate to severe renal insufficiency or end-stage renal disease; 6. There were significant cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events within 3 months before screening: congestive heart failure reached NYHA grade III or IV, myocardial infarction, TIA, cerebrak infartion, ect.; 7. History of idiopathic pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis or gastrointestinal diseases; 8. History or family history of medulllary thyroid carcinoma; 9. Patients with type 2 multiple endocrine tumor syndrome (men2) and patients diagnosed as malignant tumors or under treatment in recent 5 years; 10. Have a history of organ transplantation or AIDS.
