Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adults aged 18 or older 2.Diagnosis of Type 2 diabetic macular edema proven by clinical examination , CMT on OCT >250 µm 3.Followed up for at least 6 months after treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with other diseases that can cause macular edema 2.Patients with history of other eye diseases that affect vision. 3.previous ocular surgery 4.Patients received intravitreal drug injection therapy or had a history of systemic glucocorticoid use 5.OCT suggested the presence of macular membrane or vitreous macular traction 6.Patients who were lost to follow-up during the study period
