Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Hospitalized patients with hearing and communication disabilities and more than 8 years of education; 2.There is evidence of cognitive impairment, that is, the score of MMSE is less than 27 or the score of MOCA is less than 27, and it meets the diagnostic criteria of China dementia diagnosis and treatment manual (2017 Edition); 3.Type 2 diabetes was diagnosed according to the 1999 World Health Organization (WHO) criteria; 4.aged >=45 years; 5.written informed consent by patient or legal guardian before study participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Those who cannot meet the above inclusion criteria; 2.Cerebrovascular diseases, craniocerebral trauma, encephalitis, intracranial space occupying lesions, metabolic or hypoxic encephalopathy, Parkinson's disease, thyroid or parathyroid diseases, folic acid or vitamin B12 deficiency, autoimmune diseases, mental diseases, such as schizophrenia, severe depression, etc; 3.History of alcoholism or long-term drug abuse, such as sedative, hypnotic, antipsychotic and other drugs; 4.Serious systemic diseases, such as heart disease, tumor, systemic infection, liver and kidney dysfunction, blood system diseases, etc; 5.Those who cannot cooperate to complete the corresponding inspection and evaluation; 6.type 1 diabetes or other types of diabetes.
