Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.rectal cancer was confirmed by preoperative CT or MRI, colonoscopy and postoperative pathological examination, and the patients and their families agreed to be enrolled; 2.The primary lesion was a single lesion, with a preoperative size of 1-5cm and no distant metastasis or local invasion; 3.No contraindications and no emergency operation; 4.Laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer; 5.Complete clinicopathological data; 6.Preoperative radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other anti-tumor treatments were not received.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.no postoperative pathological diagnosis was obtained; 2.Incomplete records of medical records; 3.complicated with other systemic malignancies; 4.Conversion of laparoscopic surgery to laparotomy.
