Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: SIS group: 1. Aged 18-35 years; 2. People with repetitive overhead movements; 3. Shoulder pain mainly on one side ( >12 weeks); 4. There were at least two findings: pain arc (60-120 degrees), positive impingemnet sign (Hawkins or Neer's test), pain or weak resistance to external rotation of shoulder or resistance to lifting of scapular plane; 5. Musculoskeletal ultrasound differential diagnosis of SIS. Healthy group: 1. People with repetitive overhead movements; 2. Sex, age (18-35 years old), height (±10 cm), weight (±15 kg), dominant hand and sport were matched with an SIS participant; 3. Both shoulder joints are healthy, without pain, trauma, surgery, limited functional activity.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. With medical complications, including pregnancy, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis; 2. Shoulder osteoarthritis, frozen shoulder; 3. The current diagnosis and/or previous glenohumeral joint relaxation or dislocation; 4. Rotator cuff tear, arm drop test positive, labrum injury; 5. Upper limb fracture, such as scapula, clavicle or humerus; 6. Had corticosteroids injection, oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, drugs affecting muscle metabolism during the past six months; 7. Peripheral nerve injury and malignant tumor; 8. Shoulder symptoms originating in the spine; 9. Received shoulder strap and upper limb surgery within the past year; 10. Those who have not signed informed consent.
