Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 14-60 who have no systemic diseases and can cooperate with treatment; The root tip film and CBCT were taken before operation to record the root development; 2. Preoperative clinical diagnosis was carious irreducible pulpitis, class I or class II permanent molars: the affected teeth may have food impaction pain and occlusal discomfort, spontaneous pain, no history of bleeding pain and gum swelling and pain; Deep and large caries holes of affected teeth can be detected with obvious pain or pulp perforation and pulp, without root fracture and displacement, no percussion pain or percussion pain (+/-), and no loosening. There is delayed pain lasting for several seconds to several minutes in pulp temperature test. Premolars with closed apical foramen were determined by apical radiograph and CBCT before operation, which showed caries near pulp or pulp, continuous and complete periapical membrane, widening of periapical membrane, no periapical low-density image, no internal and external root absorption, and no calcification image in pulp cavity; 3. During the operation, the rotten substance was removed and the pulp was exposed. The formed pulp could be seen during the operation. The bleeding could be stopped within 10 minutes after the pulp was cut off. When there is no typical clinical manifestation of pulpitis, the teeth with deep caries should be diagnosed as "chronic pulpitis" when the decaying pulp is exposed or the decaying pulp is not exposed. The postoperative diagnosis of this study was "chronic pulpitis".

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from systemic diseases and allergic to local anesthetic drugs or drugs used; 2. The apical radiographs of the affected teeth showed periapical lesions and no response to the pulp electrical activity test; 3. During the operation, the root pulp was observed to be involved in the formation or necrosis of dental pulp; 4. No hemostasis can be achieved within 10min after pulpectomy; 5. The range of caries is more than 2/3 of the crown, which can not provide good retention and resistance for later repair; 6. Patients who cannot cooperate to complete the reexamination within 12-36 months after the operation.
