Postoperative pain and rebound pain

Interventions

R:Sciatic nerve block and femoral nerve block using 0.4% ropivacaine 15mL respectively
RD:Sciatic nerve block and femoral nerve block using 0.4% ropivacaine 15mL with dexamethasone 5mg respectively.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I–III; 2. Aged >= 18 years; 3. An ability to understand and give feedback on NRS.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergies to any of the study drugs (dexamethasone, ropivacaine, general anesthetics, opioids, NSAIDs); 2. BMI>=40; 3. Chronic analgesic use; 4. Contraindication of peripheral nerve block; 5. Chronic steroid use; 6. Failed nerve block(NRS > 3 in the recovery room).
