Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. SCH pregnant women during pregnancy: (1) From November 20, 2017 to April 31, 2019, they were registered in our hospital and incorporated into the Chinese Birth Cohort; (2) Documented routine thyroid function tests were in line with the diagnostic criteria for SCH during pregnancy (T3 and T4 were normal, TSH was elevated, normal values of TSH were 0.59-3.56 in the first trimester, 0.79-4.6 in the second trimester, and 0.65-4.2mU /L in the third trimester); (3) Did not receive L-T4 treatment during the whole pregnancy; (4) Aged 18-45 years; (5) Single pregnancy; (6) No history of taking drugs that affect thyroid function; (7) No living history in the area of endemic goiter disease; (8) No history of mental illness; (9) Long-term residence in Beijing. 2. Pregnant women with normal thyroid function: (1) Thyroid function tests during pregnancy showed normal T3, T4 and TSH; (2) Negative thyroid antibody (TPOAb) and thyroid globulin antibody (TgAb); (3) No history of taking drugs that affect thyroid function; (4) No living history of endemic goiter; (5) No history of mental illness; (6) Long-term residence in Beijing.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Quit the project during the follow-up; 2. History of thyroid disease before pregnancy; 3. Have autoimmune diseases; 4. Complicated with serious diseases of heart, liver, kidney, lung and other important organs; 5. Loss of follow-up; 6. Clinical diagnosis of congenital malformation, phenylketonuria, galactosemia and other hereditary diseases in the offspring; 7. Transfer to hospital immediately after birth; 8. Surgical history was found during offspring follow-up.
