Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Esophageal sarcomatoid carcinoma patients: (1) Patients with esophageal sarcoma-like carcinoma who were pathologically diagnosed in our hospital from 2008 to 2019; (2) Age >= 18 years old; 2. Patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: (1) Patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma who underwent standard surgery for esophageal cancer in the Department of Thoracic Surgery of our hospital from 2008 to 2019; (2) The postoperative stage is I-III stage; (3) Age >= 18 years old.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Esophageal sarcomatoid carcinoma patients: (1) Patients who are not newly treated; (2) Incomplete clinical data; 2. Patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: (1) Patients who are not newly treated; (2) The stump is positive; (3) Gastroesophageal junction cancer; (4) The surgical method is endoscopic surgery; (5) Carcinoma in situ; (6) Multiple primary cancers of the esophagus; (7) Combined with other malignant tumors; (8) Perioperative death; (9) Received neoadjuvant therapy; (10) Incomplete clinical data.
