Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 5 to 12 years, classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I or II, scheduled for ear reconstruction surgery under general anesthesia between May 2022 and September 2022, with a treatment plan including cartilage harvest from three ribs (the 6th, 7th ,8th), and no contraindications to peripheral regional anesthesia blocks.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Contraindications to regional anesthesia, as well as pre-existing chronic pain or cognitive impairment that could interfere with pain assessment.
