Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with right hemiplegia who received contralateral C7 nerve cross transfer surgery to improve the right upper-limb function; 2. Combined with chronic aphasia (> 1 year); 3. Adults (> 18 years), right-handed, native Chinese speakers; 4. The post-stroke aphasia is diagnosed by the Aphasia Quotient (< 93.8) calculated by the Western Aphasia Battery (WAB); 5. Adequate visual, auditory and cognitive abilities to complete the assessments.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Recurrent acute cerebral hemorrhage or infarction; 2. Severe or untreated mental disease; 3. Neurodegenerative diseases or traumatic brain injury caused aphasia; 4. Received speech and language treatment within four weeks before screening.
