Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hospitalized patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University from January 2011 to October 2019. 2. Patients with decompensated cirrhosis or acute kidney injury were diagnosed according to KDIGO criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. No ascites. 2. Hepatocellular carcinoma and other types of cancer. 3. Chronic kidney disease. 4. Past liver transplantation. 5. Aged <18 years. 6. Thyroid disease. 7. Severe immunodeficiency. 8. Stay in hospital for less than 1 week. 9. Incomplete medical records.
