Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 65 years and < 90 years; 2. Intended to undergo surgery for primary malignant tumors of the gastrointestinal system under general anesthesia, including surgery for malignant tumors of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colorectum and malignant tumors of the liver, bile and pancreas; 3. The expected duration of surgery exceeds 2 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refuse to participate; 2. Emergency surgery; 3. Severe cardiac insufficiency (preoperative LVEF < 30% or NYHA class IV), severe hepatic failure (Child-Pugh class C), severe renal failure (receiving dialysis preoperatively), or ASA classification IV or higher; 4. Preoperative schizophrenia, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, or myasthenia gravis; 5. Pre-operative inability to communicate due to coma, severe dementia or speech impairment; 6. Other reasons why the investigator believes the patient should not participate in this study, which must be clearly and detailed in the CRF.
