Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients admitted to the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of China-Japan Friendship Hospital of Jilin University since January 1, 2022; 2. Patients who meet the diagnosis of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and plan to undergo radiofrequency ablation according to the diagnostic criteria recommended in the 2020 ESC atrial Fibrillation Guidelines; 3. Meet the conditions for radiofrequency ablation or drug therapy; 4. Aged >=18 years, < 90 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute myocardial infarction; 2. Previously received radiofrequency ablation or cardiac surgery for atrial fibrillation; 3. Waiting for a heart transplant or other heart surgery; 4. Valvular heart disease; 5. Reversible causes of atrial fibrillation, such as thyroid disease (thyrotropin 1.5 times the upper limit of normal, free thyroxine T4 levels outside the normal range), acute alcoholism, or recent major surgery or trauma; 6. Claustrophobia; 7. Allergy to MR contrast media; 8. Non-MR compatible foreign body; 9. Left atrial thrombosis; 10. Cardiac pacing device; 11. Severe renal insufficiency (estimated glomerular rate filtration 3 times the normal value); 13. Have received transplantation of any major organ; 14. Pregnancy or lactation; 15. Suffer from mental illness; 16. The presence of any infectious or systemic disease; 17. Hematologic diseases; 18. Tumor.
