Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical status I-II, aged 5-12 years, with body mass index (BMI) of 19-25, scheduled for external ear reconstruction with costal cartilage graft in our hospital (Three pieces of cartilage (6th, 7th, 8th rib) were used).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. A history of long-term use of analgesics (e.g., opioids, acetaminophen, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs); 2. History of abnormal coagulation; 3. Allergic to the proposed drug; 4. Skin infection at the puncture site of nerve block; 5. Patients with less or more than 3 costal cartilages; 6. Patients with speech and mental disorders and unable to complete pain score and postoperative recovery quality score.
