Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The elderly critically ill patients transferred to ICU after operation showed acute circulatory failure: 1) The systolic blood pressure is less than 90mmHg, and the average arterial pressure is less than 65mmHg (or needs to be maintained by norepinephrine); 2) Urine volume is less than 0.5ml/kg per hour and lasts more than 2 hours; 3) Lactic acid>2mmol/L; 4) Tachycardia, heart rate greater than 100 beats/min; 5) Skin mottling.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age<65 years; 2. Left ventricular (LV) dysfunction (ejection fraction<40%); 3. Intracranial hypertension; 4. Active bleeding; 5. Intra-abdominal hypertension; 6. Arrhythmias; 7. Lower limb disability; 8. Contraindications of PLR manipulation; 9. Echocardiogram cannot be obtained and the echo is not clear.
