Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Voluntary participation in this project. 2. Diagnosis of ischemic stroke by a neurologist based on clinical labeling and confirmed by imaging (including computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance angiography). 3. Good adherence to medication, as determined by patient interview during study participation and follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Have used antibiotics and probiotic therapy 4 weeks prior to sample collection and during the follow-up period (4 weeks). 2. Those who have undergone major surgical procedures or had severe trauma within the last 1 week. 3. Serious coexisting diseases or unstable conditions (e.g., congestive heart failure, respiratory failure, malignancy, blood disorders, renal failure or severe liver insufficiency). 4. Pregnancy or lactation.
