Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 30 years; 2. Patients are willing to sign informed consent to participate in this study; 3. Patients can complete the study according to the requirements of the study protocol, including surgery and follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Duration of atrial fibrillation >=5 years; 2. Reversible causes of atrial fibrillation, such as untreated hyperthyroidism; 3. Previous surgical treatment for atrial fibrillation (whether surgical or interventional, including surgical maze surgery, catheter ablation, left atrial auricle occlusion, etc.); 4. Severe organic heart disease (such as severe mitral stenosis or regurgitation, severe aortic stenosis or regurgitation, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy, restrictive cardiomyopathy, etc.); 5. There are thrombus and tumor in atrium; 6. Left atrial anterior and posterior diameter > 55mm (2D cardiac ultrasound, parasternal long axis view); 7. There are absolute contraindications to heparin or oral anticoagulant therapy; 8. Creatinine clearance less than 30ml/min; 9. Pregnant patients.
