Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) cirrhosis patients , child-pugh A or B grade; (2) gastroscopy confirmed the presence of moderate and severe esophagogastric varices, and it was suitable for patients receiving endoscopic treatment; (3) primary prevention or secondary prevention.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) predominant ascitespatients; (2) emergency endoscopic treatment of patients; (3) there were signs of infection; (4) endoscopic treatment contraindications in patients; (5) patients with hypersensitivity to cephalosporin.
