Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Cirrhosis combined with hepatic encephalopathy: 2. At least 2 episodes of hepatic encephalopathy requiring hospitalization; 3. Age >= 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. MELD score >17; 2. Oral or application of antibiotics; 3. Related drug allergy; 4. Use immunosuppressive drugs; 5. C. difficile positive; 6. Pregnancy; 7. Infection; 8. Alcohol abuse; 9. Patients who cannot provide informed consent.
