Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A total of 595 patients with gout aged 18 to 80 were included between June 2018 and August 2021 at the Affiliated Hospital of Medical College Qingdao University, Qingdao, China.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Aged 80 years; 2. Patients taking any drug that can affect blood lipids metabolism; 3. Patients on stone-related medications such as allopurinol, potassium citrate, and thiazides within one month; 4. Patients with other causes of arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and spondyloarthritis.
