Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The subject has knee pain and is diagnosed as knee osteoarthritis (the subject needs to provide the relevant diagnosis certificate from a formal medical institution) or is diagnosed as KOA according to the diagnosis and treatment guidelines of the Chinese Orthopaedic Association (COA) in 2021, which meets any two of the following (1) and (2), (3), (4) and (5): 1) Repeated knee pain in the last month; 2) Joint space narrowing, subchondral osteosclerosis and/or cystic degeneration, and osteophyte formation at the joint edge; 3) Age = 50 years old; 4) The morning stiffness shall not exceed 30 minutes; 5) There is a sense of bone friction when moving 2. KOA's Kellgren-Lawrence rating is Grade I - ?; 3. NRS pain score 3-6 points; 4. Subjects can use smart phones to send messages and video calls via WeChat; 5. The subjects can communicate and understand Chinese characters in Mandarin.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. having rheumatoid arthritis, gout or severe osteoporosis; 2. Preparing for knee replacement, other knee surgery in the next 6 months or knee surgery in the past 6 months; 3. History of falls or fractures within the past 6 months; 4. cancer; dementia or severe cognitive impairment; mental illness; 5. A diagnosis or suspicion of other conditions that limit exercise (e.g. stroke, heart failure, severe anaemia, etc.); 6. Hypertension and diabetes not regularly medicated and monitored; 7. There were other health problems that prevented them from participating in the project; 8. Unable to sign informed consent.
