Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the 2016 international criteria for the diagnosis of septic shock: infection or suspected infection, rapid sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA)>=2, persistent hypotension after adequate fluid resuscitation, vasoactive drugs required to maintain mean arterial pressure (MAP)>= 65 mm Hg and blood lactic acid (Lac) >2mmol/L. 2. Aged >= 18 years. 3. Duration of hospitalization >=48h. 4. Complete at least 28 days of follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant and lactating patients; 2. Patients with primary immune and hematological diseases; 3. Patients who have received organ transplantation or taken immunosuppressive drugs; 4. Platelet transfusion was performed within 28 days before admission; 5. Long-term use of anticoagulants or other drugs that may affect platelet count and function; 6. Give up active treatment; 7. Case data are incomplete.
