Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >=65 years; 2. ASA Grade I-III; 3. Patients undergoing elective surgery for gastric and colorectal cancer in our hospital; 4. Operation time >=2h; 5. Body mass index (BMI) 18-30kg/m^2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgery; 2. Patients with cognitive dysfunction determined by MMSE score before surgery; 3. Unable to understand Mandarin and communicate effectively; Severe visual and hearing impairment; 4. Sevoflurane, dexmedetomidine, glononium bromide, scopolamine, and changtonine were used during the study; 5. Patients with preoperative behavioral disorder or combined mental illness, use of psychotropic drugs (clozapine, risperidone, olanzapine, haloperidol, chlorpromazine, etc.), history of alcoholism and use of acetylcholine; 6. Preoperative complications of other vital organ dysfunction: severe circulatory system diseases (such as severe arrhythmia, hypertension, coronary heart disease, cardiac insufficiency) and history of cardiac surgery; Severe respiratory diseases (respiratory failure, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,); Cerebral hemorrhage; Abnormal coagulation function; 7. Patients with contraindications to the use of esketamine: aneurysmal vascular disease (including thoracic aorta, abdominal aorta, intracranial and peripheral arterial vessels) or arteriovenous malformation, history of cerebral hemorrhage, history of glaucoma, untreated or undertreated hyperthyroidism, and patients with serious risk of hypertension or elevated intracranial pressure; Allergic to esketamine or any excipients.
